There are a total of four seasons comprised of 55 episodes. The episodes are all between 20-30 minutes long and explore various social and political issues through the perspective of an African American family living in the suburbs.
Some notable episodes include "The Trial of R. Kelly", which satirizes the controversy surrounding the accusations of sexual misconduct against R. Kelly, "The Return of the King", which depicts Martin Luther King Jr. waking up from a coma in modern times and commenting on the state of civil rights, and "It's a Black President, Huey Freeman", which takes place on the night of President Obama's election.
